Tonight after teaching lessons all evening, I painted my first real full size watercolor (it is too big to fit the entire picture on my scanner). It is 40 degrees outside, but it sure feels colder. Off to read and rest. Nighty night. xxoo

The last winter rose
Plucked from my dying garden
Still possess
The sweet scent of spring
Deep within its petals
Providing hope
Of warmth reappearing
Once more
