Woo - Oh

Hi Everybody. Home from my gig with Tim Turner and Billy Spaulding at the Redline in West Seattle. Hopefully, Michael (my son)
and I will shoot some videos tomorrow. So, nighty night. xxoo

The Ramones - 'I Want to Be Sedated,' is linked to this post.

Woo Oh
Woo oh
What can I say?
Piled high on a tray
Delicate glasses
Some half empty
Some half full
Depending on
Which mental garden you stroll
The high priestess cries
Woo oh
Woo oh

Marvelous Maple Leaf

Hola! Home from teaching lessons, and then my gig/playing bass with Tim Turner and Billy Spaulding at the Redline in West Seattle. Faith No More - 'I Started a Joke' I'm finally feeling better today, not so miserably hot - okay I know, from all my friends on the East coast and down south - zip it. Oh well. I made some progress organizing my back room, but it is probably going to take me twice as long as previously estimated. My posting is inspired by a big leaf maple leaf which I found on my morning hike. Nighty night. xxoo

Marvelous Maple Leaf
Marvelous maple leaf
Floating on a breeze
How many strange scenes
Have you observed
Hanging from a tree
Gliding slowly downward toward
An unknown destiny
Once again
Turning upside down
Once again
Searching deep inside
Serenaded by small mysterious sounds

Opinionated Corn

Hi. My song/youtube link to the title of my blog tonight is, U2's 'With or Without You.' I love this song. We used to perform this song in the band I used to play with in the Bay Area. Boy I hate feeling in limbo like I do right now. I can't wait to move on to a new level in my career which is more challenging and where I can grow and learn again. I've been stagnate for too long now, and I'm starting to grow mold. Where's my attitude of gratitude? I don't know it flew out the window. It is hard to have a good attitude when I am underpaid and devalued. I feel like I'm living in twilight zone, or I'm living in a continuous bad groundhog day where I can't wake up. This blog posting is dedicated to my favorite food substance - corn. Nighty night. xxoo

Opinionated Corn
Opinionated corn
Tooting your annoying horn
To ears that don’t want to hear
Your self -righteous opinions
Covering your fears
Listen Mr. Corn
Shut off your blow horn
Mr. Opinionated Corn
If you keep yapping you’re your lips to morn
You will turn into sloppy buttery popcorn

Rainbow Luck

Okay, I'm ready to fall over. I taught a group lesson, private lessons, and then played my gig with Timmy Turner & Billy Spaulding at the Redline in West Seattle. It was a fun jam. A lot of very talented and nice people showed up. The weather here in Seattle has been really strange lately, (or normal for Florida), clear sunny and blue skies in the morning and then overcast and raining the afternoon on. Thus, driving to my gig tonight I spotted a beautiful rainbow which is my blog inspiration for tonight/morning. Nighty night. xxxoooo

Rainbow Luck
I spy a rainbow
Touching the sky
A warm smile my body sighs
A rainbow fills the universe with hope
That someday soon
I will find a pot a gold
And a bowl of stew

Silly Stars

Hola! Okay. Another unlubricated super quickie posting. Arriving home from my gig with Tim Turner and Billy Spaulding at the Redline in West Seattle, I looked up at the beautiful clear sky filled with random stars and constellations. Therefore, tonight's blog posting is inspired by the stars. I have a 16 hour day tomorrow, and need to get some shut eye, so......
Nighty night. xxoo

Silly Stars
Silly stars
Smiling so wide
Friends with the cool moon
Who controls the earth’s tides
Silly stars laughing
At some jokes
In the vast dark skies
Beautifying the night
Lending mystery to our lives

Hopeful Imagining

Hi Everyone. I have been a slacker. Oh well. It is my birthday week. I actually finally slept for more than two hours, and I'm feeling a lot better. My mind starts wandering down the road of negativitly without enough z's. I played with Tim Turner and Billy Spaulding at the Redline jam in West Seattle last night. Tim threw a birthday party for me. He is the best at making people feel adored. I hope to post another blog entry tonight, since I really wrote and painted this posting when I arrived home after my gig this morning. However, I fell asleep before posting it this morning. This posting is inspired by a fairy necklace with a bottle of real fairy dust attached that Tim gave me last night. Hopefully this weekend I can figure out my music posting bug so I can start my music postings next week. Have a nice day!!!!

Hopeful Imagining

I implore
My heart and mind
I scrupulously explore
What do I really desire?
Mental stimulation
Or someone to light my fire
My hopeful imaging
Is one day, maybe, hopefully?
They will occupy
The same kind package

Space Between My Ears

Alrighty, I'm home from the Redline, West Seattle gig with Tim Turner and Billy Spaulding. Can't feel my left arm, so it is difficult to type. I'm still not sure what the left arm numbing problem is due to yet? My inspiration for tonight's blog posting is the movie 'Spaceballs'
which was on TV when I arrived home. What a comedic genius Mel Brooks is!!! Okay, I need to obtain some shut eye.
Nighty night. xxoo

Space Between My Ears
Space between my ears
My final challenge
My final frontier
Traveling at the
Pace of a retarded slug
I enter my head at a
Variety of hours
Laying on my back
With my fingers
Shaping O’s
Chanting the word representing God – Ah
For a half hour or so
I usually fall asleep from exhaustion
Performing this ritual now
For three years or so
I wonder if it is
Manifesting anything positive
Or if my brain
Is shutting down from
A lack of oxygen

Weird Energy

Okey schmookey. I'm home from my Tim Turner jam tonight at the Redline in West Seattle with Billy Spaulding on drums. I always enjoy hearing a lot of talent play at the jam. It is now 2:45 am, and after posting my blog I need to finish my river painting for the Edmonds art festival deadline tomorrow. I can't believe I'm still awake since I had double dose of severe cold medicine along with a Theraflu. I'm going to sleep well tomorrow night. Night night. xxoo

Weird Energy
Weird Energy
Buzzing through the atmosphere
Why is this occurring?
A conundrum exists
Maybe Jupiter is slipping to the left
Maybe Mars is
Taking a recess
Acknowledging the foremost
Thought of all
It is not what is happening to you
it is how you are reacting

Cup of Joe

Hi everyone. Okay, it is 3:30 am, and I have a splitting headache. Played the gig at Redline in West Seattle with Tim Turner and Rick Spano. Fun jam, but long night. I told myself that i was going to cut back on my coffee consumption to one cup a day, and I ended up drinking five cups today. Ahhhhh! I guess better than drinking booze, I think? Tonight's blog is inspired by my friend Susan who has been busy trying to think of a new coffee name for Gevalia's coffee naming contest. Okay, nighty night - if I can sleep. xxoo

Cup of Joe

Cup of joe
Giving me the jitters
From head to toe
I’m trying to break up with you
But your taste delights me so
Okay I’m totally codependent
To my favorite
Cup of joe

Unga Woomga Zooba

Hi. Okay, I know I was going to write my blog posting dedicated to my parents today, but I'm too tired after my gig right now at 3 am. Therefore, here is a little diddie I created inspired by a name I heard on 94.9 Seattle Public Radio as I was driving home.
Happy Easter!. Nighty night. xxoo

Unga Woomga Zooba

Unga Woomga Zooba
Surging through my veins
Unga Woomga Zooba
Driving me insane
Unga Woomga Zooba
Raging hormones
Singing their song
Unga Woomga Zooba
Playing a rhythmic beat
All night long
Unga, Unga, Unga
Woomga, Woomga, Woomga,
Zooba, Doobey, DA

What's Next?

Hola! Arriving home from my Thursday gig with Tim Turner and Billy Spaulding at the Redline in West Seattle, I'm feeling a little tired. I have to get up early tomorrow too, so super duper double whoppey quicky. Saturday I'm planning on dedicating my blog posting to my mother and father who both passed away during the first week of April but in different years. My mother passed away on April 1st, and my father passed away on April 4th. Alrighty, here's the quicky. Nighty night. xxoo

What’s Next?
What’s next?
What package
Will the future bring?
What color will the ribbons be?
Will the contents
Be as big as a tree?
Can I take a peak?
What’s next?
What will the future bring?
