Ohh la la. Personally I found Friday the 13th to be a lot of fun. hee hee. Played a gig out in Granite Falls with Brainstorm at the Timberline. Ahhhhh. I'm watching my previously recorded version of Project Runway from Thursday the 12th, but I'm going have to get some shut eye since I have to get up early tomorrow to teach. Nighty night. xxoo

Hola. I taught some piano and violin lessons today, and then I played a gig with Brainstorm. I was going to try and finish my posting early (early as in 2 am), but I ended up talking to both my bff vampire phone buddies. Super long day tomorrow, so nighty night. xxoo

Goofy Perspectives

Howdy. Well, I passed out before I could post my blog posting. After three hours of sleep yesterday, I taught lessons early in the morning, and then played a gig up in Arlington at The Stump with Brainstorm. On the way home I stopped by Tulalip casino and saw Randy Hansen (Jimi Hendrix impersonator) play. I have played with the drummer Rick Spano on and off for over ten years now. I hired Randy one year to play on my song, 'Take My Hand,' http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/lauriemiller2dd Randy is a great performer! I met my friend Lori there, and I did my drawing for this posting while sitting in the parking lot waiting for her to get there. We hung with my friend Eddie, who owns New CA Tavern. I have my last gig - five out of five days tonight at the J & M in Pioneer Square with Dr. Z and the MDs. I'm off to take a nap. Nighty night. xxoo

Dangerous Detours

Howdy, I've linked my favorite Kid Rock song, 'Cowboy', to the Title of this blog. I used to love dancing to this song back in the day. I arrived home tonight about an hour ago after playing a four hour gig with Brainstorm at Eddie's Trackside up in Monroe, Washington. I think next week I'll have fewer hours to work and more time to spend on my creativity. Yeah! I really miss creating. Another long day tomorrow, so nighty night. xxoo

Ahhh. I am so happy!!! I finally get a little bit of a break this morning. Yeah! My house is beginning to look like an episode from Hoarders. Ugh!!!! I taught six private lessons today and then I played a gig with Brainstorm at the Inn in Lynnweird, WA.

Lights Out

Hola! Okey dokey.

Another super duper sloppy quickie! I played a gig with Brianstorm tonight after teaching today, and I can't feel my left arm. It was fun. We rocked out! My friend Marky Mark suggested my blog title for tonight, 'Lights Out.' I have my title and David Cook's name linked to his song 'Come Back to Me.' David is now one of my new favorite artist.

Humm Diddily Doo

Hi everyone! I taught guitar, piano, violin, and group keyboard lessons today, and I played a four hour gig with Brainstorm in Renton at the Williams Ave. Pub. I think I only obtained two hours of sleep last night, so I better 'hit the hay' soon. This posting is inspired by tonight's gig. I wish I could elaborate more, but I don't want to tread on any toes. Dark Before Dawn

Hi Everyone. My inspiration for tonight's blog posting is my friend Susan's name for her coffee, 'Dark Before Dawn.' I taught lessons today and then I played a gig about an hour away from my house in Maple Valley, WA with the band Brainstorm. My arm is super tingly and numb tonight. I still have to reschedule my follow up blood test clinic appointment, since they double booked me. Ah state compensated health care: clinics with no real doctors, only nurse practitioners, and you could be standing in their lobby bleeding to death and they would schedule you an appointment two months out. It is almost 3 am and I need to get up in a few hours for another long day of teaching, so ..... nighty night. xoxoxo

Bass Girl

Hola! Okay, I remember hearing the birds chirping while I lay in bed this morning. I was still awake, from too much coffee, and it must have been about 6 am. Therefore, I probably obtained about 2 hours of sleep before embarking on my day. I taught some violin and guitar lessons today, and my son came home from college. Returning from my gig tonight with the band Brainstorm in Lynnwood, I watched Thursday's Project Runway show. It was exciting because this is the last challenge before the designers show their collections at Bryant Park. The four designers picked for the final show are: Emilio Sosa, Jay Nicolas Sario, Mila Hermanovski, and Seth Aaron Henderson. My inspiration is derived from the Project Runway show and from playing bass at so many gigs. Love to all. Nighty night. xxoo
